FAQs

Do you teach adults?

We have many adult students, from total beginners to gigging players. We believe that it's never too late to start a musical hobby, revisit a former passion, or refine your skills. Currently, our student body ranges from ages 6 to 80!

Do I need to own an instrument?

Yes! Having an instrument at home to practice on is necessary. You may want to ask your instructor about individualized accessories for your instrument, such as music stands, metronomes, etc.

Where should I buy an instrument?

There's a significant benefit to buying your instrument locally. You not only support your community, but you get customer service before and after the sale, which is especially important for a quality instrument!

Can you describe the lessons?

Our lessons are fun and relaxed. Whether your lessons are taken remotely or in person, we will create an individualized learning pathway geared to YOUR learning style. We address the fundamentals, theory, and essential skills while still meeting the student's individualized goals. From kids to adults, you will learn the music you love, at your own pace!

How many lessons do I get per month?

Lessons are once per week, for a half-hour. Tuition is $155 a month. There are no lessons on holidays and some school breaks, but it's still the same price every month, regardless of how many weeks there are. It averages to four lessons a month, although sometimes there will be three or five lessons. The policy helps things stay consistent, which is essential for your musical progress. We do offer lessons during the summer months.

There’s never a better time to begin expressing yourself through music unless it was earlier.
