Anthony Campbell
Guitar, Drums, Piano, Bass, Ukulele
I began playing music in elementary school - my family has always been very into music, and encouraged me to pursue it. I went to LaGuardia High School in Manhattan, and graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a degree in Music Industry. I have also studied with the Les Paul Foundation, learning more about production.
Being a multi-instrumentalist has given me a very diverse range of music to learn and enjoy. You can see how instruments tie into each other for their role in the band, like the bass and drums locking in together in a rock song or the guitar and piano on a pop song. The thing I enjoy most about being a multi-instrumentalist is that I get to have fun being in every part of the band!
My teaching philosophy is that music should be about enjoying yourself, and the others around you. Music is subjective, so there is something for everyone! Everyone has a place in this "music world" and I am happy to help people find a place that they enjoy.
MORE THAN JUST A MUSICIAN
My hobbies outside of music are cooking and collecting antiques!
The thing I enjoy most about teaching music is seeing my students grow into musicians they never thought they could be!
