Growing up in a guitarist's home, I have been immersed in music for as long as I can remember. I've had the opportunity to play all over the United States and Europe with many bands, including Los Straitjackets and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Wanda Jackson. In the past few years, several of my own projects (GOONS!, The Sound Minds, and The Swingin’ Palms) have performed at major festivals all over the world, including SiriusXM’s Underground Garage Cruise and The Rockin’ Race (Spain). When I teach, I look for an individual path for each student - there isn't a dogmatic approach that works for everyone. I pride myself on meeting the student's goals and interests while giving them the skill sets to become life-long learners, no matter what age they are!
